Gas prices are going up and my hourly wage isn't, so I've decided I need to part with a few 45s. I'm more into lps, so my 45s don't get much play.
I came upon this particular one in a box of 45's I bought from an older gentleman. He used to work as an RCA distributer her in Minneapolis from the mid 50's to 1969, if I recall correctly. He had tons of great stories to tell of meeting the big starts of the time. Of course, he was more into the easy listening of the era and said he was never a fan of the "acidy rock 60's stuff". So, good news for me as this is my era of choice. Since he didn't like the music, it was all never played!
I liked this one, so I've spun it about 10 times. A couple very light hairline scuffs only visible on the parts of the vinyl with no grooves keep me from grading this a Mint. I use Goldmine Standards. I can safely say this is a strong NM record on both sides. It's a WLP to boot. If you haven't heard the tune "Psychedelic Siren", it's a great garage with ripping fuzz guitars. I love it! Sadly, I need gas to get to work and back so this 45 will need to find a new home.
