This is a Ampex 4 channel 7.5 ips.discrete Quadraphonic reel to reel tape ,
Plays in one direction on four channels ,tape is also playable on 2 track decks with out quadraphonic playback capabilities with very good results.

I have just listened to the entire tape on top notch equipment ,Sound quality is very good .No drop outs tape is very evenly wound on reel .Tape left only the absolute slightest residue behind after playing entire tape ,nothing worse than playing a great tape only to see it left huge amount of deposites behind ,leaving you wondering ,how long will this remain playable ,if all the tapes i currently owned played and looked like this one i would be a very content audiophile ..i collect tapes too,I know what it is like to win a dud .this tape will not disapoint
Box is in very good condition ,front and back photo very clear and bright does have a slight tear at thumb hole ,box has seperated there as well ,see photos,plastic reel it self is in mint shape ,
