Deacon Blue - Raintown, CBS 450549 1 LYRIC INNER

What to say about an album which has "Chocolate girl" and "Dignity" on it? These outshine anything else here, of course. Also, worthy of note is "Loaded", this song is about discovering love when all else is in despair, but although the subject has become a little cliched this songs lyric attacks it slightly from the side, another simple arrangement led by piano and drum and possibly Ross/McIntosh's best vocal performance. "This Town" is quite a venomous attack on smallmindedness delivered with a rasping vocal over a sweet musical undercarpet.

Vinyl: NM. Looks like it just came from a retail store and it was opened for the first time. The finish is shiny, with no visible defects. Labels are superb, clean and bright without marks. Spindle shows no sign of wear. And no warps.
