Up for auction here is the rare and long out of print Xpressway 7" record release by the Dead C - 'The Sun Stabbed' EP.  This is the first 7" record release by the Xpressway label out of New Zealand after a string of cassette only releases.  One of the best from this band and that label...IMHO.  It features three songs; 'Bad Politics', 'Crazy I Know', and 'Angel'.  Angel is a classic bit of Dead C drone-noise, and I have run across a couple of covers of Bad Politics (possibly as close as the Dead C got to "punk rock") - including one by Yo La Tengo, who are prone to pulling this one out live with Ira sitting down behind the drums.  Great stuff.  The sleeve is in practically new condition and the record is clean, although I did notice a spot of white discoloration in the vinyl.  I think you can see this in the pic of the back. I listened closely and there is no noticable effect on the sound of the record to my ears, and it looks to me like a simple bit of discoloration that came about when pressing the record.
