Dead Kennedys — Fresh Fruit and Rotting Vegetables

1981, First US pressing by IRS with orange cover and black letters.

Comes with a b/w double-sided foldout poster


Cover: Very good with ring wear and light surface wear. Edges, particularly bottom, rubbed from shelf wear. No seam splits.


Poster: Very good with single pin hole in each corner & one light stain near lyrics. Evidence suggest the side opposite lyrics may have been taped to wall at one point: I see one small piece of old tape near the side edge that is yellowing (have not tried to remove), and a corner with tiny remnant and very surface pull (busy design makes this nearly undetectable). Overall looks really great with no seam splits. Measures 22-1/4” x 32-1/2”.


Vinyl: Good plus — very good condition. Has light surface marks as well as some more visible surface scratches. With closer inspection, the most obvious marks appear to be white marks in the very vinyl surface, not scratches). I have played back this record and a few marks impart light, minimal surface noise, while others do not. It’s a loud punk record so I did not hear any particularly distracting surface sounds or pops. It generally sounds pretty clean. Inner labels are excellent.


Inner sleeve: Plain white sleeve. Wrinkled, stained, center seam splits on all sides. Will ship in an additional new plain white sleeve.
