Description
For sale is an original copy of Dead Kennedys' debut LP, Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables, released on I.R.S. in 1981. It is one of the rare early copies released with an orange cover instead of the more common black one. This cover variation was not authorized by the band, instead it was an attempt by I.R.S. to make the domestic version of the album different from the UK version, which had already been released. The band soon demanded it was changed back to black, and that is the version that you see most often.
This copy is in excellent condition. The vinyl looks like it was never played and the poster looks like it was never unfolded. (I didn't want to risk damaging it, so didn't unfold it for the photos.) The only signs of wear are on the corners of the sleeve, and it's quite minimal.
