Description

I grew up in LA and was fortunate enough to have been into punk from '81 to '86-ish when shows were really wild, police were out of hand, and everything still had a very fresh, raw energy. I have a ton of records from back then – a lot of them original pressings. Generally, I'd buy an album, record it to cassette, and then listen to the cassette to limit wear and tear on the vinyl, so most of what I have is in very good shape.

This specific LP from 1982 is in very good condition. The cover has a small amount of wear, the inner sleeve only has a little yellowing from age, the 28-page collage booklet/lyric sheet is in excellent condition, and the vinyl itself has no scratches, scuffs or defects that would affect play.

The Dead Kennedys (from San Francisco) were by far my favorite punk band – excellent music, smart/often-political lyrics, and that warbling Jello Biafra vibrato was unmistakable and sometimes chilling when paired with Ray’s guitar (along with the dynamics of the song itself, “Riot” on Side B is a prime example of that). The DKs were:
