Death Cab For Fiver 7" split release b/w Devil In The Woods Magazine and Barsuk Records (DIW #31 / Bark 009)

Here is the most sought after DCFC vinyl release. Although this is just as rare as thier very first 7" (a split w/ The Revolutionary Hydra, song "your bruise"), this ones more desireable because the copies released were numbered out of 500, and the songs are not on any other release and probably never will be because they are collaboration songs with the band Fiver. The songs were also recorded in a spare bedroom in Fiver's house in a couple days after their tour. I'd have to say that they have a strong Death Cab feel though, and Ben Gibbard is lead vocal.

This copy is somewhat special because i got it from someone that worked at DIW a few years ago and is an UN-NUMBERED copy. I'm guessing that the label made a few extra copies for employees/band members.

Everything is in perfect condition, couldn't be better really. Sleeve is printed on a this thick watercolor style paper, printed on both sides. The inside cover has the story of the recording which was done in a couple days during a 1999 summer tour with Fiver, written by Ben Gibbard.
