Description

"Strings and Keys". Debut records DLP-1. Charles "Charlie" Mingus' Earliest Recording, and most expensive according to my 1994 Goldmine Jazz Guide which priced this at $240.00 (VG+) to $400.00 (NM). 1953 Release. Maroon Label, Gold Colored Text, Deep Groove Press. Cover: VG+. Top and Spine Seam Tight. Bottom Seam middle has a 1 inch split. Some writing on front cover but does not go over Text, or Image (see scan). Back Cover also Excellent except two tiny arrows point to the last track on Side B. Record: VG. Nice Labels. Vinyl shows loss of gloss, has scuffs, marks. Spot played both sides, did not skip but background hiss is there. I don't know if even a Mint Copy would play without hiss as many Rare Jazz records were not pressed on the Finest Vinyl. High Bidder to pay postage. I accept PayPal, BidPay, Money Orders and Personal Checks, however I will have to wait to ship until personal checks clear. Good Luck!
