Description
This is the Sir George Solti, Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra version recorded between 1958 and 1968. The set consists of a wooden case covered in imitation leather with box inserts each containing a booklet describing each opera in English and the records themselves. The inserts have a book type spine with gold lettering down each spine.
The condition of the case is faded but good; there is a slight tear on one of the spines and that is all. My wife bought the set in about 1970 and very few of the records have ever been played - some a couple of times - many not at all. Some of the cardboard sleeves have become unstuck on one side owing to the passage of time. Generally the condition of the records and booklets is near mint.
