Description
Original UK Harvest label stereo press LP, without the later EMI box and with the earliest 'Gramophone Co' label text and A-2 B-1 matrices.The Garrod & Lofthouse front laminated sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some very light corner/laminate wear on the outer cover. The spine is intact & still fully readable, the Harvest inner is intact & in VG+ condition. The record is in visually EX condition, with no nasty marks or scratches and only a few faint & wispy hairlines and scuffs visible under bright light on each side. The labels are in EX condition, undamaged, clean & bright with evidence of a few spindle markings. The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with no loud crackle, pops or hiss & no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some light background noise during the run in grooves, overall it is a really loud & punchy listen!! The matrix nos. are; SHVL-777, A-2 mother stamper 2-GDA, B-1 mother stamper 4-GRL. This is one of the early 1st pressings of the original 1970 UK stereo 1st issue of this classic album!!
