Released after their successful 1970 'In Rock' Lp ,  Deep Purple's 'Fireball' took their hard, bluesy, dense and creative sound one step further.  Many consider 'Fireball' Purple's definitive moment (some might make an argument that 'Machine Head' is even better) a powerful and seamless document of a band at its peak.  But if you think you've heard this album ....think again.  The copy I'm offering is the EXTREMELY rare variant with fully and heavily "textured" labels (as opposed to being smooth to the touch). They are similar in look and feel to the early "Pink "i" Island"  labels.  The playback from this heavy slab of vinyl is.........UNBELIEVABLE!!! .....Loud, heavy, dense, clear, and distortion-free. I couldn't believe the difference between the regular (and more common) 1st UK press and the textured labeled version.  I would think there are not too many around but even less so in this Near Mint condition.  Yes, I am asking a fair amount.....but honestly.... when was the last time you saw one of these?

Condition of Gatefold Jacket: Excellent......this is a fragile jacket with its textured "orange-peel" surfaces.....some creases and corner/spine wear are visible but overall, a very solid example of an iconic gatefold sleeve.  Lyric insert is missing and/or may not have been included with this particular variant.

Condition of Original Inner-Sleeve: Excellent....some age discoloration and edge wear. A high quality inner will be provided to house the precious record.

Condition of Record: Near Mint ......incredibly clean and glossy surfaces to both sides....this record has hardly been played....I'm sure of that.  The weight of the vinyl is substantial.....at least 170g but probably closer to 180g....very impressive.
