Description

A 1st pressing of Fireball on the UK Harvest label. Matrix A2/B3. Stampers 2-TP/2-OM. Etching 'PEK'. This is the very first iteration of this release with George Peckham's 'PEK' evident in the deadwax. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original fully textured gatefold sleeve. Also included is the original thick paper lyric sheet and original Harvest advertising inner sleeve. So, 100% original and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In absolutely superb condition and has clearly seen the lightest use. Under close inspection we could make out nothing more than a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Even the quiet sections are free of interference - this is a really superbly preserved 1st press. The audio delivered from this Peckham cut is absolutely awesome - this is the real deal. A final upgrade for sure. Nothing more than a couple of crackles [literally] the whole way through.
Cover (Ex) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Back and front are very well preserved with just a couple of light creases. Both interior and out are in lovely condition with little signs of colour fading. Just the lightest handling wear and nothing remotely noticeable. Edge wear is minimal too with barely anything on the spine and the text still 100% intact.
Lyric sheet (Ex+) Absolutely superb. Pretty much like new - which is very very unusual. No fading at all and no creases either.
Inner sleeve (Ex-) A bit of creasing and some light ageing. No splits though.
