Description

A genuine very 1st press of 'In Rock' on the UK Harvest label. Matrix 2/1. Please note labels are consistent with very 1st press - 'Gramophone' still appears in the perimeter text and there's NO Emi logo apparent. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. Also included is the original Harvest inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In impressive condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. A truly super rendition with even 'Child In Time' playing supremely well - and that's the test track for pedigree! I really can't recall 'In Rock' being delivered with this sort of aplomb for quite some time. Interference is borderline non-existent. I'll do the usual catch-all...expect a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments. A stunning little player...
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has been cared for down the years. Very nice clean front with only a couple of tiny creases in the bottom right corner and a tiny nick in the top right corner. The rear looks good too with very little creasing at all. The interior looks very nice and tidy and has escaped the most of the ageing many copies suffer from. Edge wear is light for this title. There's little wear on the spine, but it has compressed so don't expect to be able to make out the text. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg) A couple of side splits - c. 2 inches..and the interior poly-bag is missing.
