Description
A genuine very 1st press of 'In Rock' on the UK Harvest label. Matrix 2/1. Stampers 1-G/1-AG. Please note labels are consistent with very 1st press - 'Gramophone' still appears in the perimeter text and there is NO Emi logo apparent. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. Also included is the original Harvest inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In great condition and has only seen light to moderate use. Under close inspection there are a few very light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Plays through real nice with a touch of low-level static intermittently in 'Child In Time' - as is common. Certainly nothing that would classify as invasive and only vaguely audible in the quiet passage. Overall playback is of a very high standard and you'd really have to go some to improve upon it.
Cover (Ex+) In superb shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Lovely shiny front with barely a crease - ditto the rear. The interior is in lovely condition with just lightest ageing at the extremities. Edge wear is light and the spine is pretty much all intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. Difficult to better I'd imagine!
Inner (Ex) Lightest of ageing. No splits though.
