Description

An original 1st pressing of 'In Rock' on the UK Harvest label from 1970. Matrix A2/B1. Please note the labels do not hold the 'EMI' logo and are therefore the very first pressing of this LP. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. Also included is the original Harvest inner sleeve. So, 100% original and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In superb condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a number of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. The audio comes across with great clarity and minimal interference. All we detected was a touch of light static in a couple of tracks e.g. 'Child In Time'. This is a notoriously difficult track to find playing completely clean and this copy doesn't do a bad job at all. The audio quality really is superb and a perfect reminder of how good Purple were at the height of their powers.
Cover (Ex) In absolutely super condition and has clearly been looked after down the years. Shiny front and back almost totally free from ageing or creasing. The interior is in equally good condition - just minor handling wear. Edge wear is light and the spine is totally intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Very little ageing. One tiny edge split.
