Description
Deep Purple Machine Head on picture disc (EMI/Harvest, EG 26 0345 0, UK). The classic hard-rock landmark recorded in Montreux in 1971 with the Rolling Stones Mobile Studio presented on the sought-after UK "pocket sleeve" picture disc, and this copy is complete with its fold-out poster.
I did not take the disk or the poster out of the PVC for photos.
The package includes: the picture disc itself (clean, vivid imagery), the fold-out poster, the original bi-fold clear-PVC "pocket" jacket (one round pocket for the disc, one square pocket for the poster), and the round "Deep Purple Picture Disc including Free Poster" hype sticker.
Condition: The disc is clean and displays beautifully. The PVC sleeve has some age-related yellowing/haze, which is typical and expected for this 1980s issue. A fantastic, complete collectible of one of the greatest hard rock albums ever made.
