Description

An original 1st press of 'M.I.J.' from Dec 1972 on the UK Purple label. Matrix 1/1/1/1. Etching 'Porkie/Peckie/DELTA etc'. Stampers 1-PL/2-PR/2-RP/2-RP.  Please note the labels are consistent with very 1st press and still show 'Gramophone' in the perimeter text. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover printed by Garrod & Lofthouse. Also included are both original generic white inner sleeves with patent information.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In lovely condition and have only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. One of the greatest live albums for audio quality and mastered by 'THE MAN' Mr. Peckham - what's not to like! Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Interference is both minor and infrequent. All we detected were a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. A great player from start to finish...with hardly anything at all to complain at.
Cover (Vg+) In great shape and has survived the years in very decent condition. The front and back look great, but with a bit of minor creasing at the corners. Please note on the rear at the top there's a stain below the laminate [above the track listing]. The interior looks great no major issues. Edge wear is light and the openings still sharp. The spine looks good, but has folded down the middle as most examples tend to do. The text on the spine is still mostly legible. Overall the cover retains very good rigidity. 
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing at extremities. And a one inch side split.
