An original and genuine very 1st press of the iconic Made In Japan live Lp. One of the greats in my humble opinion. Matrix 1/1/1/1. Day 1 copy and pressed by Emi (not a contract press). "Gramophone" text. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover with original inners. If you want to get a feel for Purple live at the height of their powers...this is one sure fire way!
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with super clarity. It's a cracking little copy. Even into the mega fussy spots...Does it really have mega low noise floor..?.go straight to CHILD IN TIME...this will sort the men out from the boys! And sure enough one of the cleanest renditions I've ever heard...one . Amazing insight into the mix - THE ORIGINAL PECKHAM CUT. The beak-out in Strange Kinda Woman is just amazing....ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. Not only is this a great live album but they did a fantastic job of capturing every last nuance. And these Emi 1st pressings are legendary for the reproduction. Superb. Never heard a better playing copy>>>>>
Cover (Vg+) Surfaces are very good just a bit of damp in that top right has caused some slight discolouration. Given the aesthetic not that noticeable really. Interior looks great. Minimal edge wear and firm openings. Spine 80% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
