Deep Purple ORIG OZ LP Machine Head VG+ '72 Purple Q4TPSA7504 QUAD Hard Rock


Original OZ LP released in 1972 on Purple Records. Cat: Q4TPSA7504. Comes in laminated gatefold sleeve. Has Albert as Publishers on label. Comes with foldout lyric insert which has some tears which sticky tape has been put over and is in VG condition.

 Led Zeppelin's fourth album, Black Sabbath's Paranoid, and Deep Purple's Machine Head have stood the test of time as the Holy Trinity of English hard rock and heavy metal, serving as the fundamental blueprints followed by virtually every heavy rock & roll band since the early '70s. And, though it is probably the least celebrated of the three, Machine Head contains the "mother of all guitar riffs" and one of the first learned by every beginning guitarist in "Smoke on the Water."
  Tracks : Highway star/ Maybe I'm a Leo/ Pictures of home/ Never before/ Smoke on the water/ Lazy/ Space truckin'.

 There are a few light spindle labels. Record has some light scuff marks and light scratches that casue some crackles and is in VG+ condition. Gloss gatefold cover has some small tears on bottom right corner and is in VG+ condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
