A great experimental mind-melt. Proggy guitar noodling, cosmic drones, eruptive improv, and occasional horn build-ups.
Delired Cameleon Family is basically Clearlight under a different name doing a soundtrack to an art film called Visa de Censure No. X. Actually this group also featured Yvan Coaquette, of Musica Elettronica Viva, along with Cyrille Verdeaux (naturally), Tim Blake (on Tamboura), and a host of others, many you'll already be familiar with if you know Clearlight. This album is really all over the place from "Raga", a strange raga-influenced piece with droning tamboura (sounds like a sitar drone), lots of tabla and a droning ARP 2600 synthesizer to the strange, piano-oriented "Weird Ceremony" to the jazzy jams of "Le Boeuf" and "Novavana". The later features a vocalist singing about how badly he wants certain drugs and alcohol (probably Yvan Coaquette).
