Dennis Alcapone - Guns Don't Argue & "Version Galore" UK Trojan LP

 

1. Dennis Alcapone - Guns Don't Argue (Jackpot BSMT 001 LP 1971) Original/ early Jamaican pressing. It has a matt sleeve & comes with its original polythene inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has 1st press A/ B matrices. Sleeve: There is a 1" seam split at the centre bottom. Light or mild rubbing wear in some other places. VG+ condition. Vinyl: Light to mild sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. The polythene inner sleeve has left some moderate marks on the vinyl. There are some mild pressing marks too. Good++ condition. The labels are nice and clean & show mild spindle wear. Plays VG to VG+ overall. There is some light or mild crackle in some quieter places.

 

2. Various - Version Galore (Trojan TBL 200 UK LP 1971) LP features Dennis Alcapone, U Roy, Lord Harry, Big Youth & Jah Fish. UK original LP pressing. It has a matt sleeve, & comes with its original company plain paper inner sleeve. This is in VG condition. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has textured "Trojan" labels. It has 1st Press A1/ B1 matrix stampers. Sleeve: There is a tape stain that goes along the bottom edge. Mild ringwear & rubbing wear in places too. VG condition. Vinyl: Light to mild sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light, and about three small marks. VG condition. The name "Jan" has been written on one label, & circled in the Trojan on the other label. Otherwise mild spindle wear. Plays VG to VG+ overall. There is some light to mild crackle in some quieter places. There are some clicks on one track too. This is caused by a small mark.

 

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).

Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).

Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.65 to £7.85 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £8.75 to £11.50 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

 

Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £20. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
