Dennis Brown - Superstar
Rare Barbados imprint. Excellent Plus condition - plays with almost no background noise.
It's a very rare thing to get an LP by Dennis Brown that never made it to CD.
Especially when it's THIS good! Maybe it's because there are a few cover versions and the licensing would be difficult? Who knows but hell, you need to hear his version of Black Magic Woman for a start - absolute scorcher. There's some great early roots styles in here too; 'He's Above' (AKA 'Comma Comma') and more...
The record itself uses the original Canadian Micron stampers so the fidelity is just as the original Canadian pressings - no worries there! And the sound is strong, full-bodied and very clean. I doubt you'll find any cleaner I say...
