Description
This is my copy of Black Celebration by Depeche Mode (STUMM26), which I originally bought shortly after it it was released in 1986. It's been played no more than a handful of times, including today to confirm that it plays the whole way through. It's always been stored vertically in a proper hard record case, which has helped to keep the vinyl flat and to maintain the condition of the sleeve. The vinyl is glossy and looks new; the disc rides flat on the turntable; there are no visible scratches on the vinyl, although there are a couple of faint handling marks on Side Two. There's some very faint crackle on a couple of tracks, but (in my opinion) not enough to spoil the listening experience. The labels are very clean with no spindle marking (see photos). The outer sleeve is in excellent condition, with only a slight bit of wear on one corner, very minor creasing of the cover near the spine, but no other spine wear; there are the remains of the original price label on the sleeve, which I did not want to remove for fear of damging the sleeve. The inner sleeve/lyric sheet is totally unmarked (see photos). I've used the grading scale from the Vinyl Factory website (https://thevinylfactory.com/features/a-comprehensive-guide-to-grading-vinyl-records/ ) to grade the condition of the vinyl and sleeve for this item, as follows Sleeve: EX (Excellent) Vinyl: VG+ to EX (Very Good Plus to Excellent) Thanks for viewing, and happy bidding!
