Description

Up for sale is a top condition example of Depeche Mode's "Playing the angel." This is the NA edition pressed in Canada by Rhino. Both records are in mint condition as well as the gatefold sleeve and both graphic inners - I was offered this as a gift but, being a massive DM fan I already own several copies of the album so I haven't ever even played this one, only machine cleaned it. Both records come in Mobile Fidelity anti static inner sleeves in addition to the original graphic inners. This is one of the best albums of the post-Alan Wilder era and, despite being maligned for "loud and distorted" mastering by the audiophile community, it actually sounds fantastic - the distorsion is part of the records' sonic identity which the band intended to be rough / industrial / in your face. A fantastic album in a pristine copy.
