DEPECHE MODE RARE LP Vinyl Record HONG KONG Pressing + Misprint - Some Great Reward
Issued on the Mute / Hong Kong Records Co. label, the catalogue number is STUMM 19 , released in Hong Kong in 1984.
This is a very rare and hard to find pressing for collectors. The record company logo art on the back of the sleeve differs very slightly to the UK issue, and the labels on the record are teal-coloured, as opposed to the white UK labels. The sleeve or record don't actually mention Hong Kong but the A4 card insert does, see pictures. The run-out grooves read STUMM 19-A 11 /STUMM 19-B 11 which is again, different to the UK version. Also included is the original poly sleeve which has aged over time with rippling/creasing.
The vinyl is in excellent condition. There is light scuffing but it plays through without any problems, fully cleaned and tested. Has the name 'Burrow' or 'Burrows' hand-written on the Side A label. The label also has a misprint on Side A and says 'pulbishing' instead of 'publishing'. The lyric insert sheet is in excellent condition. The A4 advertising card is in mint condition. The outer sleeve is in very good condition, with a little ring wear and edge wear in places (corners and spine). Very rare.
Item will be sent well packaged and the record housed in a white sleeve at the side of the original picture sleeve to avoid any damage to either on the way. Then both into a poly sleeve and into a vinyl mailer with a stiffener.
I worked in record stores for around 20 years and I am selling a lot of my collection.
Comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home.
