Description

Please do not pay before I will send you an invoice! Please read postage fees in the bottom of this page first! Thank you!

POSTAGE IS NOT 7 POUNDS! Check the rates below and WAIT for my invoice! Hi and welcome to my auction. All my auctions will start at £0,99 with NO reserve, so grab a bargain. Please read everything carefully here, so you won’t miss anything. My seller feedback is 100% positive so you can bid with confidence. Grading a record is always very hard, as everyone got their own grading system. I always check my records under a critical light so there won’t be any surprises (many sellers don’t do this), so I will see even the lightest hairlines and sleeve removal lines which you won’t see in normal room light. I’m a collector myself, so I do my best to be honest with my grading. Please see my grading system in the bottom of this page. Thanks for reading everything and happy bidding!!!

What I have for sale here is:

Artist: Derek & The Dominos
Title: Layla
Label: Polydor
Cat#: 2335009/10
Made in: England (1970)

Description: This 2-LP set is is often regarded as Eric Clapton's greatest musical achievement. It features a host of talented musicians: Bobby Whitlock on keyboards/vocals, Jim Gordon on drums, Carl Radle on bass, & special guest performer Duane Allman on lead and slide guitar. Matrix numbers: 2335009 A//1, B//2 & 2335010 A//1, B//2. Housed within an unlaminated 'MacNeill Press' printed gatefold cover. Original white inner sleeves (dated 1170) are missing, but I have replaced them with new ones. Truly magnificent UK first pressing of this classic blues album.…

Condition: NM/NM/EX (Records/Cover)
Labels are very clean. Looks unplayed or maybe played once only! Visually couple sleeve removal lines to be seen under my unforgiving halogen lamp, NO scratches or any other nasty marks. Gatefold cover is in superb condition for its age. Only "fault" is the price sticker stain on front cover, other than that it looks really really nice for its age...

Grading (Record):
This is my grading system. I’m very strict when grading a record. Mostly my VG+ grade is most sellers EX. Also, I don’t use VG+++ or EX+++++ like some sellers do…

NM (NEAR MINT)
This is highest grade that I will assign to opened, handled records. The vinyl is virtually flawless, bright and shiny. A very minor, barely visible scuff or two may be permitted, but no scratches. The disc should play with no audible noise. The label is bright, clean and unmarked.

EX (EXCELLENT)
Disc plays near perfectly, but may have minor paper scuffs that do not interfere with the sound quality. There can possibly be a few hairline scratches but nothing that is obvious or affects play. Vinyl is bright and shiny; label is clean and unmarked.

VG+ (VERY GOOD+)
Some visible surface wear, very minor scratches and scuffs, but minimal impact on the sound quality. Might have a light click or two, but NO skips or jumps. Vinyl will still have good luster; labels may have minor imperfections but otherwise clean.

Grading (Cover):

NM (NEAR MINT)
Very minor signs of wear or cover impressions. Artwork is as close to perfection as possible.

EX (EXCELLENT)
Minor disc impression or slight corner creases, no wrinkles, puckers, seam splits or writing on the cover. Artwork is clean and unworn and there is no ink wear.

VG+ (VERY GOOD+)
Cover is clean but may have minor writing or marks and may show slight wear. There may be just the start of ring wear, where the disc has created a raised area on the cover that resulted in the ink wearing off the paper. There may be slight discoloration or staining, minor seam wear, but no splits or tears. Corners may have small creases or fraying.

Payment by Paypal or bank transfer (IBAN).

If there are any questions please don’t hesitate to ask. Please see my other auctions for great records…
