Description
This is a vinyl LP copy of DEVO's 1979 album Duty Now For The Future on Warner Brothers Records. Produced by Ken Scott, this was the band's second studio album and features the singles "The Day My Baby Gave Me A Surprize" and their cover of "Secret Agent Man." The album sleeve is perforated around the band picture of the front, enabling it to be removed. the printed inner sleeve has credits, lyrics and production stills from "the Men Who Make the Music," a DEVO documentary produced by Chuck Statler.
Dead wax: BSK-1-3337 WW4 ---◄ / BSK-2-3337 WW1 #3 -◄ Recorded and mastered at Chateau recorders, Hollywood, CA and mastered by Bernie Grundman at A&M Records, Hollywood, CA. This version was pressed at Capitol's plant in Winchester, VA as denoted by the -◄in the dead wax.
Album is excellent. Visible surface mark on side two does not affect play. There is writing on the label on Side 1. Has been tested and vacuum cleaned. Cover is VG to VG+. Has writing on back and damage on back bottom. Original inner sleeve has splits sides and bottom. Please see pictures for further condition, and feel free to ask questions!
