Description

Dexter Gordon (with Butch Warren, Billy Higgins, Sonny Clark)  A SWINGIN’ AFFAIR Blue Note 4133, recorded 1962. Mono pressing, not deep groove. NOTE PLEASE: Mono jacket, STERO LP. “VAN GELDER” in the wax. “Blue Note Records Inc, New York USA” on label.  Disc plays NM-, with occasional flicker of surface wear.  Laminated heavy jacket is also NM- with a ½” paper tear and a rubber stamp on reverse. Also includes 2-color original catalog sleeve.

Here’s the penultimate of about 30 batches of records from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well.  Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence.
