Description
Dootone Records DL 207 Original red vinyl deep groove pressing. One of the most acclaimed and collectible Jazz LP's. Great West Coast sound. The players are: Dexter Gordon-Tenor Saxaphone, Carl Perkins-Piano, Leroy Vinnegar-Bass, Chuck Thompson-Drums, Jimmy Robinson-Trumpet. Tracks are: Silver Plated, Cry Me A River, Rhythm Mad, Don't Worry About Me, I Hear Music, Bonna Rue, I Should Care, Blowin For Dootsie, Tenderly. Condition of vinyl is a solid VG+ This LP was visually graded and was play graded. The sound was excellent. Very minimal surface noise limited to the soft passages, usually on the trail on-off vinyl. Very enjoyable. There is a address sticker applied to the B-side of the label, this should be able to be removed at the new owners option. Cover is VG. There is a seam split at the top that runs about two inches in length, small amount of writing on back that does not distract from the liner notes. No other seam splits, tape or heavy ring wear. The front cover is without a doubt one of the coolest Jazz cover photos of all time and just captures the Jazz scene of that period. Very nice copy of this seldom seen original red vinyl gem!
