Dexter Gordon 'Our Man In Paris' Blue Note BLP 4146 1st Mono Press. ‘Ear’ and Van Gelder stamped in deadwax. Amazing session recorded in France, one of very few not actually recorded by Rudy Van Gelder. Despite This fact this is one of the loudest most dynamic Blue Note pressings I've ever heard.

Front cover presents very well. Top and bottom seams and spine been taped. Wear round edge and on back. Looks like bit of a split just over an inch at top of spine. Name and date written top left back. ‘Mecolico’ stamp on back. Vinyl: VG (but plays VG+) Visually quite a few surface marks but they’re non-feelable, plays great loud and clear with minimal surface noise I’d say easily plays like a strong VG+ but have graded very conservatively. These original Mono pressings are very forgiving of surface scuffs and marks as long as they’re not actual scratches that are feelable
