Description
This is the original deep groove pressing of Dexter Gordon “Daddy Plays the Horn” on Bethlehem BCP 36. The playing surface is in excellent condition, with a beautiful luster; however, the first minute and fifteen seconds of the second track on Side A has intermittent tics; “D.J. Sample Copy” stamped on the Side A label. The laminated cover has ¼” wear on the top seam, at the opening; the back slick has a 1 ¼” x ½” chip on the bottom, “D.J. Sample Copy” stamped at the top corners, and a very light water stain at the top left corner. Personnel include Kenny Drew, Leroy Vinnegar, and Lawrence Marable. $100.00.
