Description
Here's a rarity of interest to Marc Bolan collectors. Bolan fans know the history of this recording, but for those of you who don't, here it is. The line up was Tony Visconti (lead vocals, bass guitar), Marc Bolan (guitars, backing vocals), Rick Wakeman (piano) and John Cambridge (drums). For years it was rumoured that David Bowie played on the session, but Tony Visconti has been quoted as rubbishing the rumours. However Mick Ronson was in the studio, but as a spectator only. “Oh Baby” was released in 1970 on the UK Bell label (cat no 1121), but was a flop. However it's always been a top collector’s item and always commands attention when it appears. This copy comes complete with the original demo sticker and is supplied with the stock Bell sleeve in circulation at the time of release. Conditon: there is some surface noise, most apparent on the play in and play out grooves. The vinyl itself retains a sheen and whilst there is one evident mark it doesn’t affect the quality of play. Overall I would grade the condition as EX-.. The cost of of P&P is £1.50 UK Royal Mail first class recorded delivery. Charge for overseas is £3.00. Recorded by Airsure £4.99
