Description
RARE in this 45 RPM EP issue. I can find no other offers on line. I am inferring that this is the earliest issue of this Basil Rathbone Christmas Carol, since in 1949 the same recording was issued by Columbia Masterworks as an 33 rpm LP.
The records themselves are in very good condition. Good sound. The only marks are that someone numbered the sequence 1, 2, 3, 4 on the labels. See photos.
The album cover, holding 2 records has only a "$3" price written in pencil on top left back cover. The cast is listed and a short account of how Dickens came to write "Christmas Carol."
Inside the covers is a big list of the records that Columbia has available. A great collection!
