Description
I am the original owner. I was a DJ at my small high school during the mid 60's and was on "the list" that received promotional records. Records were sent to me directly from the manufacturer and many were never played. After graduation, in the summer of 1965, I did not do any more DJing because I was at university and then a career in engineering. This record has not been played since the year of manufacture and has been carefully stored for over fifty years.
Faint initials on the A side. The vinyl is glossy and it looks as if it was pressed yesterday. It comes in the original Capitol sleeve.
A Rare Candian Capitol record. The record was mastered in Canada by RCA Victor Studios in Toronto, and pressed by RCA Victor in Smiths Falls, Ontario. Only a single pressing run was made for the disc and all copies feature the same run-out information. An original estimate of 5000 copies pressed was listed in the Beatles Canadian Discography Part 1 book.
