Notes: The Engelkinder is a unique musical family from a small village near Innsbruck in Tyrol, Austria. They sing and play music together and are a symbol of an old Continental tradition: house music. Father, mother and seven children sing three, four and five part music of the Renaissance and play music of various ages in all sorts of instrumental combinations. They also dance. They offer art music of the highest quality, but according to the critics are best in their own ingeniously arranged folk songs from various parts of Austria, and in their inimitable interpretations of yodels, marches, polkas and the like.
