My Grandmother had a HUGE record collection. She just passed away and I have inherited them. I know she took extremely good care of them, but they have been listened to. She was an 80+ women, so her collection has what she would listen to, I am trying to list the ones I know would be popular. But if there is a certain one you are looking for, shoot me a message. They are all 33 1/3, they show wear but like I said have been taken very well care for. Any questions please feel free to contact me. I will try to answer any of your questions to the best of my ability. I have tried taking lots of photos so you can see the condition of the records.
Here is Diesel Dazzle. It includes the program, which is in mint condition. I have tried showing you the condition of the record and the sleeve. They seem to be in great condition. I dont have a record player right now, so I am unable to test it.
A very rare example of the Industrial Musical record. The Detroit Diesel Engine Division of GM presented this extravaganza to its employees to motivate sales of their products.
The musical was written by Bill Heyer and Harold Beebe. The music combines all the style of a then contemporary Broadway shows with the down to earth appeal of a sales brochure. A one of a kind listening experience.
This musical was recently highlighted in the book Everything's Coming Up Profits: The Golden Age of Industrial Musicals authored by Steve Young. Considering the low production numbers and the limited release, this album is a very tough one to find.
