Dire Straits beautifully presented, remastered and repressed on 180 gram heavweight vinyl.
The third Dire Straits album, and the one where Mark Knopfler really starts to get ambitious with the band's sound and style - produced by Knopfler and Jimmy Iovine, side one consists of three of the finest songs of his career - 'Tunnel of Love', 'Romeo and Juliet', and 'Skatewaay'.
This vinyl edition is extraordinary. Mastered by Bernie Grundman from the original tapes - without any digital intervention - for excellent sound. The bass and drums are clear and defined, the music spreads through the room for its enormous presence, and Knopfler's voice and guitar seem to come outside of the speakers.
The disc weighs 180 grams and contains the original letters and cookies. Perfectly pressed, concentric hole, no background noise, absolutely clean. A delight at the price!
