Description

This is a 1 LP Warner Brothers Music Show featuring Dire Straits recorded live (most likely at the Old Waldorf in San Francisco or the Tower Theater in Philadelphia). This is show WBMS -109 and was broadcast in 1979. Songs are:

  • Down to the Watertime
  • Six Blade Knife
  • In The West
  • Lady Writer
  • Where Do You Think You're Going
  • News
  • What's The Matter
  • Lions
  • Sultans of Swing
  • Eastbound Train
  • Southbound

Record has been cleaned with a VPI record vacuum recently, played and stored since then. Includes original color cover and has a paper inner sleeve. The cover is graded at EX - and the record graded visually VG+. There are some clicks and pops, but overall the show sounds very nice. It's hard to get these records completely free of clicks and pops since they shove about 27 minutes of music per side. Show runs about 50 minutes.
