"Can you hear the sound of an enormous door slamming in the depths of hell?" Not only is this the chilling description given of a nuclear detonation during one of the sound-bite samples on the first Discharge album, but it's also a perfect description of the Stoke, UK-based punk band that turned the world of underground music on its head with their primal bursts of uncompromising speed and aggression. Formed in the late-70s by twin brothers Bones and Tezz Roberts, and Rainy Wainwright, Discharge has proceeded to change the face of punk and indeed extreme music itself. With a brand new vocalist Jeff "JJ? Janiak (from Broken Bones) revitalizing their creativity, and Tezz back in the fold on second guitar to beef out their sound like never before, the current line-up, completed by Bones, Rainy, and drummer Dave Caution, have signed to Nuclear Blast, to unleash their aptly-titled new beast of an album End Of Days. The nightmare continues.

Note, however, that we often break the seal on records in order to take product photos. We also  sell many hand-assembled, DIY releases that do not come factory shrink-wrapped and may occasionally show fingerprints or other signs of light handling.
