Discrete Quadraphonic Reel Tape
Deep Purple
Machine Head
Up for auction is a TDK 7 inch reel to reel tape. It is a high output/low noise formula. This tape has been recorded once, so it is fresh and in excellent condition. I used it to backup a discrete quadraphonic copy of Deep Purple's machine Head. The copying was done directly from an Akai 400D-SS (playback) to a Tascam 44 (recording).
I have transfered the music over to DVD-Audio discs, so I no longer need these as backups. My reel to reel recorder is no longer set up, so I have no way of erasing the music on this tape. It is therefore the responsibility of the buyer to erase this tape, if he or she does not have a licence for the music. This tape is being sold as bulk recording tape only.
As you can see in the pic, the tape is in a plastic covering, and comes with the original box.
I am also auctioning a 10 inch reel of Ampex tape that has a quad backup copies of the Moody Blue's Days of Future Passed and On the Threashold of a Dream. I will be auctioning all of my over 100 quad reel backups a few at a time, so if you are interested, add me to your favorite seller list.

If you have zero feedback, I ask that you contact me before bidding. I welcome your business, but find that if a new Ebay buyer follows this simple request, he or she will have no problems in his or her first auction. If you do place a bid without contacting me first, and you have zero feedback, I reserve the right to cancel your bid.
I accept bids from Canada and the United States. That is how this listing will read. However,I will consider bids from Australia, Western Europe and Japan, but you must contact me for pre-approval before bidding.
Payment must be made within ten days of the end of the auction. Payment can be made by USPS or Canada Post money order (in US funds) or by Paypal. Paypal payments must be from a confirmed account. That means that the credit card or bank account which is used to establish the Paypal account must have an address of record that matches the shipping address you want the tape sent to.
Shipping to the USA will be a fixed $4.00 for 2/3 day USPS Priority mail, which includes insurance and a tracking number.
Shipping to Canada will be a fixed $7.00 for USPS Global Priority mail, also including insurance. I can't remember whether the USPS offers tracking on Global Priority mail. If it does, I will provide it.
