Description
Beautiful original 1944 copy of the soundtrack for Walt Disney's The Three Caballeros, on 3 78rpm Decca records, Album no. A-373 of the 23-M Series. This is the very rare original version, and is very hard to get in this amazing condition. All three records are nearly immaculate. The first disc looks like the only one that was ever played, and so it has some very very light superficial scuffs but it plays flawlessly. The other two look unplayed and sound unplayed. The cover has slight wear at the spine, but it is still intact and untorn, as most copies are. A little bit of light edge and corner wear, but really not much. This is a top, gorgeous copy.
The music is by Charles Wolcott and his Orchestra, and includes the following:
Side 1 - The Three Caballeros (Mexican Corrido - Vocal Chorus by Ray Gilbert)
Side 2 - Jesusita (Instrumental)
Side 3 - Baia (Samba Jongo - Vocal by Ray Gilbert and Mixed Chorus)
Side 4 - Os Quindins De Yaya (Samba - Vocal Chorus by Nestor Amaral sung in Portuguese with Bando De Luna)
Side 5 - You Belong to My Heart (Boleros - Vocal Chorus by Ray Gilbert)
Side 6 - Mexico (Bolero - Vocal Chorus by Ray Gilbert)
A top original of this super-rare Disney original.
