originally released 1958 // 1st press // not a reissue
Blue Note Records // BLP - 4006 mono blue & white label reads: "47 West 63rd - NYC" "RVG" & "P" imprinted in deadwax both labels are deep groove laminated cover vinyl is in a polysleeve, not the original inner sleeve
COVER: VG
cover is average, not great // lots of yellowing due to age, especially on the back cover // // there are two middle seam splits, one at the top and the other at the bottom
VINYL is between VG+ & VG++
the vinyl appears well taken care of and is very clean (has a nice sheen) and plays with excellent fidelity. However, there are definite scuffs on both sides of vinyl. The vinyl, in my opinion, rates a "B". There is light background noise in the quiet spots
there are no spindle marks on label
in spite of the scuffs, the vinyl plays exceptionally well!
I am an expert shipper.
This record will be sent "Priority Mail" and will be completely insured.
I will remove the inner sleeve and vinyl from the outer sleeve to prevent seam-splits in transit, and I will package the LP using a rigid mailer and reinforced cardboard.
