Description

In the coming months I will be listing some records from a DJ from the Bay Area, who worked for KSAN in the 1970's. For your consideration, Do It Now Foundation DIN 302 A Realistic Drug Education Album, from Phoenix, Arizona. This double lp features part spoken word & part musical journey to try to reach a certain psychedelic audience I assume, kids that were listening to rock & experimenting with drugs more powerful than just marijuana. The Byrds Artificial Energy on side 1 along with a Frank Zappa announcement to stay away from speed. Side 2 has the Steppenwolf song The Pusher. Side 3 talks of Jimi Hendrix & of his demise because of drugs. Also The Fugs Marijuana on side 3. These are interspersed with public service announcements & prescription drug ads, etc. Quite cool. Side 4 has Genesis The Long Road. Also Canned Heat Amphetamine Annie. The vinyl is in NM- condition, with maybe just a few sleeve scuff marks. The cover is G+ with stains, stickers to upper left, some edge wear some creases, & a KSAN rubber stamp ID to front upper center. Buyer to pay $4 media mail shipping to USA.
