Record Grading Information

New/Near Mint
New condition, apparently unplayed, showing no signs of wear
Excellent, E+, E-
An Excellent record will show only slight wear. The playing surfaces still maintain much of their original shine. Surface noise is minimal.
Very Good, VG+, VG-
The record will be somewhat more worn. There may be some slight grayness appearing in the grooves. You can expect more surface noise, scuffs, and light scratches.
Good
A good rating is a misnomer and means not so good. A good rating means that the record has considerable wear and usage, grayness in the grooves, random mars and abrasions from a sleeveless existence. You can expect considerable surface noise in a "good" record.
Fair & Poor
These are the lowest ratings and I only sell Fair or Poor copies of very rare records. These would fill a collection until a nicer copy comes along.

***Please Note****

A bidder sent a question asking about groove wear so I cleaned and played the record.  In doing so I find that I have been a bit optimistic in the description of this item.  There is not greying in the grooves but there is a fair amount of surface scuffing which causes a disappointing amount of hiss.  The music comes through fine but there is surface noise.  In addition, there was a patch of what I thought was dirt but it does not come off with water and causes a swish for 10 or so revolutions.  With apologies I think this record is more VG- than VG+ and would serve to fill in a collection, only untill a better copy comes along.  If you have already bid, feel free to cancel your bid.
