Fantastic and scarce copy of legendary Dock Boggs murder ballad “Pretty Polly”— issued here for an Alan Lomax set in the early 40’s. Master pressed! The flip side is “The Girl I Left Behind Me” by Dick Reinhart.
The record has some scuffs and wear but plays great. There is a bit of surface noise— not sure if I have the wrong stylus for this one (I have a 2.75TE). The music is loud and clear.
