DOLLY PARTON – FIRST RECORDING
GOLDBAND RECORDS – 2017 YEP ROC REISSUE
SOUTHERN FOLKLIFE COLLECTION
WITH ORIGINAL DIGITAL DOWNLOAD INSERT

Once-played 2017 reissue of Dolly Parton’s earliest commercial recordings, originally released on Goldband Records and produced by Eddie Shuler.

This special release documents the very beginning of Dolly Parton’s extraordinary recording career, years before her breakthrough as one of country music’s most beloved performers.

A PIECE OF DOLLY PARTON HISTORY

Dolly Parton was still a child when she recorded for Eddie Shuler’s Goldband label in Louisiana.

These recordings offer a fascinating glimpse of her early musical talent and ambition, long before her international success.

The record features a wonderful black-and-white childhood portrait of Dolly, accompanied by a reproduction of her signature.

The front artwork includes the wording:

“DOLLY PARTON – GOLDBAND RECORDS”

“1st Recording – Collectors Item”
