Description
Remastered from the original analog source, this is Don Cherry's Symphony For Improvisers LP, reissued in a Limited Edition by Blue Note records in 1994! Part of the "connoisseur" lp series, this pressing features 180g virgin vinyl (HQ-180) in an "audiophile pressing."
Recorded by the great Rudy Van Gelder in 1966, this album was entirely composed by Don Cherry (cornet) and features Pharoah Sanders and Gato Barbieri on tenor saxophones. A.B. Spellman provides liner notes.
Jacket and album are in excellent, like-new condition. LP remaster sounds amazing, playing like a brand new record. Jacket has some minor corner wear and a faint ring. Jacket is very clean, as it has been stored in a resealable poly sleeve for 30 years. Inner sleeve is a high quality poly sleeve.
