DESCRIPTION:

Don Ewell - KPFA broadcast Acetate. Exceptionally rare – We can find no official pressing of this recording – According to Stanford.edu this session (1957) is considered by many to be one of Ewells greatest performances. Perhaps it was picked up by one of the majors in the UK with a view to release? Whatever the case this recording is of significance and may be unique? We hope it goes to a good home.

Cover.- Generic

Record / acetate:. The hand typed Emidisc labels present well with very light discolouration - NO writing / stamps / tears or stickers. The playing surfaces retain a full rainbow gloss. Light edge warp to the metal disk, plays through no problem. A few hairlines to either side only. = Very Good (VG) *Please note this is a loud cut acetate (Lacquer coated metal disk, Play will deteriorate sound quality much faster than vinyl.) The disc plays through with full Mono fidelity.

Packaging:

Records within the inner sleeve will be removed from the cover and sandwiched between professional card stiffeners then inserted into a protective plastic sleeve. This package is then placed within a professional cruciform record mailer (N.B: We do not use cheap mailers)

Any record sold with a value in excess of £10 will be shipped with a minimum of a signature requirement upon delivery.
