Description

This appears to be an advertising label for Don Q Rum pasted over

the original label on this MGM 10520 done by Noro Morales & His

Orchestra entitled "Rum & Soda."

The reverse side has the standard MGM label, with the Morales

Orchestra playing "Don't Slam The Door."

Don Q Rum is a Puerto Rican rum and is still the top-selling rum

there. The brand was first launched in 1932.

Recorded in late 1949, this 78rpm record is in excellent to

excellent-plus (E to E+) condition with a few light surface rubs. It is in

the original MGM sleeve.
